This week i saw sociology in.....

This week I saw sociology in practice for Lacrosse. During one of the practice we had to do conditioning that consisted of a 3 3/4 mile run. There were a lot of people that were trying to help people running by telling them to keep on going and not to stop. At the end of practice on Friday our coach told us that we are going to be a family with the people that we are standing around (the team).  He went on to say that the reason that we will be like a family is because we will be very close to each other over the next few months.

Groups

Everyone is in many different groups. One of the main groups I am in is my youth group. I am one of the Leaders there also one of the very few seniors that are still active there. Over the past few years that I have been a part of the youth group I have made a very tight group of friends. One of the things that I enjoy about having that group of friends is that there are no secrets between us. My group consists of myself, a senior from St. Francis, a sophomore from WN, and a sophomore from Benet. We consider each other as brothers and we treat each other as brothers. My group is one of the most involved groups at the Youth group. For almost every retreat, mission, or conference there is at least two of us there.

I would consider this group a Primary group. We are almost always talking to each other and we are always hanging out with each other. There are only four of us so we are a very small group and we have been in this group for almost 2 years now.
